Send Us Your Gadget — Get Featured in a TechReview.Trade Unboxing

Got a gadget you want in front of 50,000+ India tech readers? Courier it to our Noida unboxing desk. Full hands-on unboxing, honest written review, and a social cut — here’s how to send it in.

Put your product in our hands — literally

We open boxes for a living. Phones, wearables, audio gear, smart home kit, chargers, creator tools, weird accessories nobody asked for — if it ships in a box and has a chip in it, we want to unbox it.

If you’re a brand, a PR agency, a D2C startup or an indie hardware maker and you’d like your product in front of India’s tech buyers, send it to us. We’ll unbox it, live with it, and publish what we actually find.

What you get

  • A full unboxing feature — first-impressions piece with original photography of the retail box, contents, build and ports.
  • A hands-on written review after real usage — not a spec-sheet rewrite.
  • A short-form social cut pushed to our channels.
  • Permanent placement in the relevant TechReview.Trade category and buying guides, where it keeps earning search traffic long after launch week.
  • Do-follow product links where editorially justified.

Who should send

  • Consumer electronics brands launching in India
  • PR and comms agencies managing tech accounts
  • D2C and crowdfunded hardware startups
  • Accessory and peripheral makers
  • Anyone with a review unit sitting in a warehouse doing nothing

Where to courier it

Ship your review unit to our unboxing desk:

TechReview.Trade — Unboxing Desk
AA-2/12, Kendriya Vihar
Sector-51, Noida
Uttar Pradesh — 201301
India

Any courier works — Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, India Post Speed Post, Shiprocket, or a brand’s own logistics partner.

Before you ship — please do this

  1. Email us first at hello@techreview.trade. Tell us what’s coming, the launch or embargo date, and the tracking number once it’s dispatched. Unannounced parcels slow everything down.
  2. Put a note in the box with the product name, variant, MRP, your contact person and whether the unit is a keeper or a return.
  3. Include the retail packaging. The box is half the unboxing.
  4. Send accessories and cables that ship in the real retail unit.
  5. Mark return units clearly and include a return waybill if you want it back. We’ll ship it back at your cost within 30 days of publication.

How we work — read this bit

We’ll say this plainly, because it saves everyone time:

  • Sending a product does not buy a positive review. We publish what we find. If it’s excellent, we’ll say so. If the plastic creaks and the battery dies by 4pm, we’ll say that too.
  • Receiving a review unit is always disclosed in the published piece, in line with ASCI guidelines.
  • We don’t share drafts for approval and we don’t accept edits to conclusions. Factual corrections, always — we want to get specs right.
  • Paid placements are a separate product and are labelled as sponsored. See our advertising page for that.

That’s the whole deal. Brands that are confident in their product tend to like these terms.

Turnaround

Unboxing features typically publish within 7–10 days of the unit landing. Full reviews follow after a proper testing window — usually 2–3 weeks, longer for anything where battery life or durability is the point.
