The post comes with an image with text ‘Usher in a new era of screen’ imbibed over. Earlier this week, the company shared a poster on Chinese site Weibo teasing a rollable display. Image on Weibo had a caption that roughly translates to “Big screen? Small screen? Infinite screen? In the future, your mobile phone may be able to retract freely”. This suggests that the Oppo Concept phone may feature a rollable screen that could retract as per one’s needs.
Earlier this year, TCL showcased a rollable display smartphone along with a tri-fold device. LG has patented a smartphone with rollable design in 2019. The company, however, is yet to officially launch the phone and is expected to do so in near future. It will be unveiled as one of the products from its Explorer Project.
