When a WhatsApp Business account messages you for the first time, you have a few options to handle it:
1. Block:
- This puts the business on your Blocked contacts list.
- They can’t message you directly anymore.
- They can still see your profile and catalog if they choose.
2. Report:
- Use this if the business is breaking WhatsApp’s rules (spamming, offensive content, etc.)
- WhatsApp may take action against the business account.
3. Continue:
- This means you’re okay with them messaging you.
- You can also start a conversation with them to officially “opt in” to their messages.
