Red Event Production acquires Alexander Media & Production Services (AMPS)

Red Event Production acquires Alexander Media & Production Services (AMPS)

Red Event Production is excited to announce the acquisition of Alexander Media & Production Services (AMPS), a highly respected production company with a legacy of personal service and technical excellence. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Red’s continued growth, enhancing its operational strength, technical capabilities, and creative ability.

Through this acquisition, Red welcomes AMPS’s full client roster, and with it, a wealth of trusted relationships and live event experience. Paul Alexander, founder of AMPS, will remain actively involved as an advisor to Red, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellence for all clients.

“This acquisition is about more than growth – it’s about alignment,” said Oliver Gee, Managing Director of Red Event Production.

“Paul has built something truly respected in AMPS, and we’re honoured to carry that legacy forward. Our combined strength means we can take on more ambitious projects, offer deeper technical support, and maintain the same high standards and personal relationships that define both brands.”

Red Event Production and AMPS share a client-first approach, grounded in trust, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to event excellence. This acquisition represents a natural evolution – bringing together two experienced teams to deliver even more value without compromising the personal service clients rely on.

“I’ve had the privilege of working with brilliant clients over the years and have always focussed on building relationships that last,” said Paul Alexander, founder of AMPS. “Joining forces with Red just made sense – not only because of their technical strengths and track record, but because they genuinely care. I’m confident that this move brings greater opportunity for our clients and allows me to stay connected to the work I love in a new capacity.”

The expanded team will offer clients increased scale, faster response times, access to a wider inventory of AV and staging equipment, and a broader range of technical expertise – while keeping the familiar faces and values at the core of the experience.
